Join the Carver Museum planning process
Friday, July 10, 2020 by Tai Moses
The master planning process for the George Washington Carver Museum, Cultural and Genealogy Center is revving up as the Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to help “guide future development in alignment with the community’s values, needs, and priorities,” according to a parks department announcement. The first virtual community meeting will take place on Aug. 8 at 1 p.m., at which time the project team “will introduce the planning team, discuss site information and review community input received so far.” Participants are encouraged to register ahead of time to make sure their technology is set up. The meeting will be recorded and posted on the project’s website. Learn more at SpeakUpAustin.
