Got questions? Austin’s transportation agencies have answers
Wednesday, June 8, 2016 by Kayleigh Hughes
Transportation issues are on many Austinites’ minds, and if you’re wanting to know more about the differences between our many local transportation agencies or ask them other questions, then you’re in luck. The city will be hosting an informal event next week during which time residents can ask questions of city staff as well as agency staff from the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Capital Metro and the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (Mobility Authority). The event will take place on Tuesday, June 14 from 1-4 p.m. in the City Hall atrium, and the public is welcome to come and go at their convenience. For double the mobility fun, this event will also overlap with June’s City Council Mobility Committee meeting, which begins at 3 p.m. in the City Hall chamber and will feature city staff presenting the results of the Mobility Talks initiative.
