Monday, November 7, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
Austin may not have won the Smart City Challenge, but City Council is taking that name back with the development of a new “Smart Cities Strategic Roadmap.” Building off the international movement, the road map will help Austin coordinate transportation initiatives and find new opportunities for improvement and funding, according to a press release lauding Thursday’s passage of a resolution to do just that.
