Goes around, comes all the way back around

It’s no secret that many Austin companies provide a ton of waste. However, one competition has been encouraging entrepreneurs to take a creative look at that waste to see how it could be put to good use. It’s called the [Re]Verse Pitch Competition because instead of entrepreneurs pitching ideas to companies, companies “pitch” their waste materials to entrepreneurs, who then think of innovative solutions that use these materials. Sound interesting? All are invited to Circular Economy Night, a free event that marks the beginning of the competition. There, attendees can learn more about how the competition works and network with other potential participants. Join your fellow reuse enthusiasts at 303 Colorado St. #1600 on Nov. 7, from 6-8 p.m. For more information, visit the competition site here, and RSVP for the opening night here.
