Early voting for the primary runoff wrapped up on Friday with a grand total of 30,949 votes cast, or 4.17 percent of registered voters in Travis County. The county received 7,604 mail-in ballots, and 23,345 voters cast their ballots in person. Democrats had the better showing by far, with 25,592 total votes cast (3.45 percent) versus the Republican turnout of 5,357 (0.72 percent). The election is Tuesday, May 22, and you can find all of the information you need on where and how to vote at www.votetravis.com.
