Creating a culture of healing
Tuesday, February 18, 2020 by Tai Moses
Community Advocacy and Healing Project invites the public to participate in Community Check-in, “an opportunity to connect, learn about our initiatives, and how we can advocate through a healing lens.” This Check-in will be focused on the group’s efforts “to end the adultification bias of girls of the African Diaspora, in collaboration with MEASURE, Hearts2Heal, Girls Scouts of Central Texas, and Lone Star Justice Alliance.” Those who would like to get more involved can attend to learn how to volunteer. Wednesday, Feb 19, 6-8 p.m., Austin Public Library Carver Branch.
