Council to appoint Erika Brady as city clerk
Thursday, April 10, 2025 by Jo Clifton
At the end of today’s agenda, City Council is set to appoint Deputy City Clerk Erika Brady to become city clerk as Myrna Rios retires. Brady has been with the city clerk’s office for nearly 11 years, according to her LinkedIn profile. Agenda backup documents indicate that her new salary will be $191,110.40. Rios was appointed interim city clerk in late November 2021 when Jannette Goodall left the city to take over as Fort Worth’s city secretary. Less than a month later, her appointment was made permanent. Rios served as deputy city clerk for nine years before stepping up to the clerk position.
