Community invited to CodeNEXT meeting
Friday, August 19, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
CodeNEXT, the city’s ongoing project to rewrite the land development code, is trucking along, according to an update from CodeNEXT Advisory Group Member Susan Moffat. With a first draft scheduled for release in January 2017, city staff is seeking public input on a series of “prescription papers” that each focus on a specific area of the code. The most recent paper to be released focuses on multimodal transportation, and the fourth and final paper – scheduled for release in September – will focus on fiscal health. The papers, along with more information on CodeNEXT in general, can be found here. The next opportunity to share feedback in person will be the CodeNEXT Advisory Group meeting, which is scheduled to take place Monday, Aug. 22, 6 to 9 p.m., at the Waller Creek Center, 625 E. 10th St., Room 104.
