CodeNEXT to host public meeting at art exhibit
Friday, April 1, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
For those trying to keep up with CodeNEXT – the city’s ongoing rewrite of the land development code – a good opportunity for checking in will take place on Monday. The CodeNEXT Land Development Code Advisory Group will be at the “Drawing Lines: Explorations of Place” exhibit downtown. The exhibit showcases artwork representing each of the 10 City Council districts, and in keeping with its “experimental and immersive” nature, it will provide the backdrop for the CodeNEXt event, with public comment being solicited at various stations throughout the exhibit. Much of the focus will be on a draft report recently released by CodeNEXT. The exhibit is located at the McKean-Filers building at 323 Congress Ave., and the advisory group will be on hand from 6 to 9 p.m.
