City unveils recycling mini quiz

Thursday, January 12, 2017 by Nina Hernandez

Don’t worry if, for some reason, you can’t make it out to next Thursday’s Zero Waste presentation by Austin Resource Recovery and the Design, Technology, and Innovation Fellows. Residents can aid the ongoing research efforts by filling out this survey on recycling habits. A huge component of the research is figuring out how Austinites currently view recycling so that efforts to improve awareness are tailor-made to the community. All of the work will further Austin’s goals of diverting 90 percent of waste away from landfills by 2040. This is particularly important as the city and the communities that surround it continue to grow.
