City to restore Barton Springs lampposts
Tuesday, May 9, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
The Barton Springs Lamppost Restoration Project kicked off yesterday and will go on for the next three weeks. The project to restore historic lampposts and lanterns around the entrance to Barton Springs, which is funded by the Barton Conservancy, also includes a clean-up of the Zilker Park entry columns. The Austin Parks Foundation provided the funds for that part of the work. Pool and park schedules are expected to continue on as normal.
