City Council candidates get an order

Yesterday, Austin City Clerk Jannette Goodall drew names to establish the order of candidates on the ballot for the upcoming City Council elections. For mayor, the order is: Steve Adler, Gus Peña, Todd Phelps, Alexander Strenger, Alan Pease, Laura Morrison, Travis Duncan. District 1 order is: Mitrah Avini, Natasha Harper-Madison, Lewis Conway Jr., Reedy Spigner, Mariana Salazar, Vincent Harding. District 3 order is: Justin Jacobson, Susana Almanza, Pio Renteria, Amit Motwani, Jessica Cohen, James Valadez. District 8 order is: Bobby Levinski, Frank Ward, Paige Ellis, Rich DePalma. District 9 order is: Kathie Tovo, Danielle Skidmore, Isiah Jones, Linda O’Neal. There is only one candidate on the ballot for District 5: Ann Kitchen.
