Career Expo to be held next week

The city is hosting a Career Expo on Tuesday, March 29, that is expected to have 100 public and private employers available to speak with job seekers. The same event last year drew 3,000 people, according to the city’s announcement about the expo. It will be held at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road, from noon to 5 p.m. Attendance is free, and there will be Spanish and sign language interpreters on hand as well as sighted guides.
