Mobility Talks scheduled for April
Thursday, April 7, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
The city is hosting two “Mobility Talks” open houses later this month to gather feedback on ideas for improving mobility in Austin. The meetings, from which people can “come and go” at any time, will include small group discussions and children’s activities. Participants can arrange ahead of time (by April 15) for language translation assistance by calling 512-974-7840 or by sending an email to mobilitytalks@austintexas.gov. The community input will later be presented to City Council’s Mobility Committee on June 8. The first open house will take place on Wednesday, April 20, 6 to 9 p.m., at David Crockett High School (in the cafeteria), 5601 Manchaca Road. The second will take place Saturday, April 23, 2 to 5 p.m., at the Northwest Recreation Center (in the gymnasium), 2913 Northland Drive. Other options for participation in the process, including a link to an online survey, are outlined here.
