Career Fest targets high school students

Wednesday, March 23, 2016 by Nora Ankrum

More than 100 businesses and organizations will be taking part in the upcoming Career Fest hosted by the Austin Youth Council. Aimed at high school students, the event will provide information on internship, job and career opportunities and instruct students on how to prepare for them. The event is still accepting participants, so businesses and organizations are invited to inquire at youthcouncil@austintexas.gov or at 512-530-3333. It will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Palmer Events Center.
