The Zachary Scott Theatre Center is the oldest continually-active theater company in Texas, founded in 1932 and originally opened as the Austin Civic Theatre. “The Topfer at ZACH” was opened in 2012 and is on City of Austin public park land, but the theater is operated by Zach. The theater is named for former Dell executive Mort Topfer and his wife Bobbi, who donated $500,000.
