Travis County Commissioners Court spending for June 3, 2014

Here is a detailed look at how much money Travis County Commissioners spent this week:

 

•Approved $1,489,967.60 for reimbursement to United Health Care for claims paid for participants in the Travis County Employee Health Care Fund for May 16-22.

•Approved $32,468.37 for the county auditor and treasurer to reimburse county employees who have completed classes in accordance with the tuition reimbursement program.

•Approved $292,406.25 for a contract award to Asphalt, LLC for asphaltic road materials.

•Approved $12,000.00 for an additional year of the Austin Independent School District’s Software Pilot Project which tracks truant students and social services available to the students and families.

•Approved $1,745,938.88 to the Transportation and Natural Resources Department for various planned park improvements and for road improvements.

•Approved $182,755.87 to the Juvenile Probation Department for various items, including employee salaries and benefits.

•Approved $194,000.00 to Civil and Family Justice Center Reserve to go toward the planning and design of a new Civil and Family Courthouse.

•Approved $60,000.00 to Criminal Courts to fund attorney work on a remaining case from FY 2013 and a new complaint brought in FY 2014.

 

Travis County Commissioners spent $4,009,536.97 at Tuesday’s meeting.
